Football with Amazon Alexa

Web copywriting, content design/direction, performance ad copywriting, script copywriting

In 2023, Prime Video became the main platform for Thursday Night Football and our in-house Alexa creative team was tasked with bringing Amazon devices into the brand moment. Our goal was to create an integrated marketing campaign to tell a ‘harmony’ story of connected device experiences, boost devices sales, and drive customer engagement.

As the lead copywriter, I collaborated with my in-house team to create engaging and relatable content that put Alexa and Amazon device benefits at the center of football watching to hosting.

We produced multiple video spots, and I worked alongside a script writer to craft and fine tune each script. I wrote the all-up landing page, upper and lower-funnel traffic drivers, and on-Echo-device engagement placements. I also developed a campaign voice, tone, and messaging style guide for this campaign, inclusive of copy for each product line, so teams could self serve additional placements as needed.

My team product a :30 second, all-up Amazon devices spot, as well device-specific :15 second spots—like the Alexa and Blink ones below. All videos had paid media spend as OLVs, were featured on an all-up Amazon.com landing page, and Thursday Night Football on Prime Video.
