Who is she?

My name is Caroline Emde—part copywriter, part creative lead, part project manager.

I’ve been working in the creative field for 10 years, namely in copywriting and content design, and as of late, in creative leadership—honing management and creative direction skills as the lead of a small team of creative contractors. My copywriting skills, and projects I love be apart of, lie in brand narratives, acquisition and engagement strategy, customer lifecycle, SEO optimization, customer experience, and the where-appropriate wordplay. I love making creative that’s relatable, colloquial, and engaging. My favorite part about this field is connecting with audiences and ultimately, inspiring them to act. At the office, I love to collaborate and learn from other creative and marketing peers—as well as make day-to-day work life a little more fun.

When I’m not managing a creative team or playing wordsmith, you can catch me in the Washington wilderness, playing intramural volleyball, shooting 35mm film, hunting for the best spots in the city—or let’s be honest, at home watching Netflix like the rest of us. While I’m a corn-loving Midwestern at heart, I currently live and work in Seattle as a creative lead for Amazon Alexa on the Brand and Integrated Marketing team.

And just because I’m supposed to have an opinion on it, I do prefer an oxford comma.
