Digital and social copywriting, plus Instagram art direction.

I was brought on to the TEDxSeattle Marketing team as a copywriter to create a range of digital content to promote the yearly event—which was free and virtual for the first time due to COVID. From speaker bios and scripts to web banner ads, I wrote for a range of digital promotions, but I mainly focused on social media.

Along with writing social copy, I also helped develop the tone, strategy, and calendar for the brand’s Instagram. Our goal was to build brand presence with engaging content that created meaningful discussion around the speakers, theme, and the moment in history—all while building awareness of the brand and sign-ups for the event.
