T-Mobile Hotspot Landing Page

Net-new landing page optimized for search engine share of voice.

A keynote in my role at T-Mobile is creating digital experiences and paths for current and future customers. These involve redesigning or creating net-new landing pages to promote offers, services, new launches, and brand initiatives. Some are led by partners on the Search Optimization Team (SEO) who come to my team with an opportunity to claim organic search revenue and lift site traffic—these are some of my favorite initiatives.

This hotspot landing page was a project to do exactly that, as well as educate customers about the different kinds of hotspots available—which was also a common search inquiry. As the copywriter, I partnered heavily with SEO partners, along with a designer and art director to create a page that captured search queries, educated customers, and lead customers down a path to purchase.

Post launch, our page ranked on the first page of Google search for the word “hotspot” — helping T-Mobile own search voice for this topic.

Since the page launched in June 2021:

  • Brought 103,925 additional visits to the site from organic search

  • Out of all the company’s pages, it’s 13th in terms of # of keywords it ranks for in organic search

  • In the top 25 of pages that drive non-brand search traffic—from ranking on keywords that aren't T-Mobile specific)

  • 21.5% increase in organic search share of voice for non-brand "hotspot" related searches (leading carrier for visibility in this vertical)

The page’s increase it SEO keyword ranking one month after launch.
